The Office of Vocations is responsible for the promotion, recruitment, screening and discernment programs regarding diocesan seminarians and men and women religious. These programs are implemented with the assistance of Parish Vocation Teams, Firestarters and other diocesan associations interested in fostering vocations.

 
Prayer for   Vocations                                                                                        
Compassionate God,  You speak your word to us through prophets of long ago and you continue to reveal your message of love today.  With great expectation we look to your Spirit to work in our world, empowering us to serve you as Jesus did.

May we listen for your word and respond generously to your call.  Renew in us the grace of our baptism.  Strengthen married couples, single men and women, deacons, priests, sisters and brothers as they seek to serve you by sharing their love and compassion.

Grant wisdom to those who are discerning their call.  With gratitude we proclaim the Good News of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

Oración por las vocaciones                                                                                          

Oh Dios compasivo, Tu Palabra nos llega por medio de los profetas del pasado y hoy continúas revelando tu mensaje de amor.  Con gran expectativa confiamos en tu Espíritu para que obre en nuestro mundo, dándonos la gracia para servirte como lo hizo Jesús.

Que escuchemos tu Palabra y respondamos generosamente a tu llamado.  Renueva en nosotros la gracia de nuestro bautismo.  Fortalece a las parejas casadas, a las mujeres y hombres solteros, a los diáconos, sacerdotes, hermanos y hermanas que se esfuerzan por servirte compartiendo su amor y compasión.

Concede sabiduria a los que están discerniendo su llamado.  Con gratitud proclamamos la Buena Nueva de Jesús en el poder del Espíritu Santo.  Amén.
