New and exciting events are taking place at your Vocations Office. Fr. Jerry and Sr. Sarah have planned various events to help you discern what God’s calling is for you. Here are just a few of those activities: DISCERNMENT EVENINGS @ SERRA HOUSE These evenings are designed for both guys & gals who are at the beginning of their inquiry into a vocational call. Starting in September every 4th Tuesday of the month Serra House will be a place prayer for those who need a place “to be still and hear the voice of the Lord.” The evenings will feature hospitality, scripture, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, and a chance for participants to speak to priests and religious sisters who can help them as they begin the process of vocational discernment. If you’re curious, give us a call. SOUP & SCRIPTURE with FR. JERRY Men, are you seriously considering a call to the priesthood? Come and join Fr. Jerry every 3rd Tuesday evening of the month at his home across the street from Serra House. The evenings will alternate each month between English and Spanish, starting with English this September and Spanish in October. These informal gatherings will allow the participants to explore their vocational call with others who like themselves are hearing God’s call. The evening will start with a light supper leading into an exploration of scriptural calls to God’s service. The scriptures will lead into open discussions regarding our call to service.
